FIVERR RATE GUIDE
One of the most common questions I receive from members of my Facebook group for voice actors is: how much should I charge for this project on Fiverr?
The reality is, several factors influence the price of voice over services. The project type, the usage rights needed, and more.
To demystify this process, I’m providing this Rate Guide free of charge to all voice over talent who wish to use it. The rates on this guide are specific to Fiverr and similar freelance marketplaces. For more information on what to charge direct clients, consider the GVAA Rate Guide or Gravy for the Brain.
You may ask: why would we charge different prices on Fiverr? The simple truth is that, if you want to make money on the Fiverr platform, you have to play ball. The way that the vast majority of sellers “make it” on Fiverr is by offering a high quality, affordable product in the beginning. Then, as you amass positive reviews and repeat customers, you start raising rates. Eventually, if you’d like, you can set your rates so that you meet or exceed industry norms. It’s not about the money, at first.
Remember: these prices are not gospel. If your specific situation necessitates a higher or lower price, charge what makes sense for the project. With that in mind, scroll down to view the rate guide.
